JC Superstar Wrote the Song "You Make Me Wanna Dance" for America's Got Talent
JC wrote "Dance" and the 10 music synthesizer parts, in a single all-night session in January 2012.
JC Superstar was waiting for the Freemantle Media producers to call back after his first AGT audition in Tampa. JC needed an original song that would work well in a 90 second format.
JC like the song so much, that he remixed "Dance" into a full-length 3 and half minute version.

JC Superstar Wrote The Song "If You Believe In Magic" for American Idol
JC planned to enter it into the American Idol Songwriter Contest in 2009. But the contest was cancelled that year, and JC alone would need to take his new song to the next level.
So JC built his own Recording Studio.
Then, as a true
solo artist, JC wrote, performed and arranged 60 instrumental
and vocal tracks to produce the final mix that would produce JC
Superstar's first demo song.

The pop song If You Believe In Magic by JC Superstar hit #4 on the Pop Rock Charts (out of 22,000 songs), soon after it was released at SoundClick on April 1, 2012.

Simon Cowell's popular summer season TV show, America's Got Talent, is produced by Freemantle Media, which also produces American Idol. AGT Season 7, with host Nick Cannon, premieres May 14, 2012 on NBC.
If JC is selected by Freemantle Media producers, JC Superstar will perform live, for the first time, at the Mahaffey Theater in St Petersburg FL, with TV show host Nick Cannon, on April 3 or 4, 2012. JC Superstar - Events Calendar
If JC Superstar is chosen, this AGT taping in St Pete would be the first public appearance of JC Superstar.
At this first live performance judging, if at least two of America's Got Talent Season 7 judges, Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandell, and Howard Stern, vote yes for JC, then JC Superstar would go through to to the next round. And JC would perform next, live, for America's Got Talent in Las Vegas!
This TV ad marks the beginning the the local publicity for the Tampa AGT taping. It first appeared on NBC station WFLA on March 24, 2012.

Will Simon Cowell discover JC Superstar ?
JC Superstar auditioned for America's Got Talent Season 7 in Tampa.
TV show producers from Freemantle Media came to town for the AGT Tampa auditions. Open auditions were held at the Tampa Convention Center on November 12 and 13, 2011.
AGT show host Nick Cannon was there to cheer on the contestants. Nick gave JC a high five!
If the AGT producers approve his audition, JC Superstar will perform next in front of the judges at the America's Got Talent Tampa taping at The Mahaffey Theater, St Petersburg FL, on April 3 or April 4, 2012.
Nick Cannon, husband of pop singer and songwriter Maria Carey, will host the show. JC Superstar would be performing in front of a live audience of 2,000 people.
If at least two of the judges, Howard Stern, Howie Mandell, and Sharon Osbourne, vote Yes for JC, then JC Superstar will perform next for America'a Got Talent in Las Vegas!
America's Got Talent, the popular summer season reality series on NBC, has an average of 12 million viewers.
The winner gets one million dollars, and will star in their own Las Vegas show!
Executive Producers Simon Cowell and Cecile Frot-Coutaz at Fremantle Media have had more success at finding real marketable talent with their other popular TV Show American Idol.
American Idol has discovered pop stars Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Daughtry.
After 6 seasons, AGT has yet to produce a true pop star. So Simon Cowell really wants to find a top 40 radio type of artist this year! Simon hopes that new judge Howard Stern will attract the right talent.
What America's Got Talent really needs now, is a top 40, radio ready, pop music, singer songwriter...

JC Superstar Writes Song for American Idol

JC Superstar 's first original song, If You Believe In Magic was first released on Facebook and MySpace as a demo version. The upcoming final version will be released on iTunes and most music website outlets.JC wrote the song If You Believe In Magic for the 2009 American Idol Songwriter Competition .
JC's song was perfect for the finale of American Idol.
The dream seemed like it was over.
But then JC decided that he himself could be the star....
JC decided to turn his plain songwriters piano rendition, into a polished radio-ready tune. So he spent the next year in his home studio, producing his song for Top 40 Pop Radio.
JC Superstar wrote the music and lyrics, and arranged all of the instrumental and vocal parts. JC sings all of the lead and background vocals and plays all of the instruments.
It's truly and purely a solo artist's dream musical creation.
If You Believe In Magic is the inspirational story about the ordinary person who has a dream to succeed...
It's about the dream to become... a Superstar!
JC Superstar Auditions for Bravo TV's Hitmakers

JC Superstar headed to Atlanta to audition for the Bravo channel's newest TV show, Hitmakers .Arriving outside the audition studio at 4:00 AM, JC found he was contestant #1, first in line.
Each contestant needed to be able to write and perform an original song.
We were led into the studio in groups of 20. says JC.
I was first up, and began singing my new song If You Believe In Magic.
By mistake, I pushed the speed control on the CD player... so the song played faster and faster.... and then slower and slower! Plus the sound system was way too loud... It sounded terrible, I'm sure!
I barely got through the chorus... It was a train wreck!
I was not selected. says JC.
I remember another contestant in my group...
A girl named
Spongetta.
She sang a song about 'I'll be in my studio', which started out ok, but then she repeated the words over and over until it got to be ridiculous.
The funny thing is... A few months later I saw her do the same audition on the TV show, America's Got Talent. The judges X-ed her, of course. But in the finale, Nick Cannon brought her back for the encore of the best of the worst contestants.
We all got a huge surprise when hip-hop star T-Pain suddenly appeared on stage to sing her song.
It really hit home as JC watched from home...
America's Got Talent had made her dream come true...
So... When you fail the first time, you really only fail, if you fail to try again.
